About Our Business
Sheridy Olson, L.M.T. is the owner and founder of
Destination Health. She is a Licensed Massage
Therapist and certified personal trainer and Mat Pilates
certified. She has over 10 years of experience working
in the health & fitness industry with a B.S. degree in
Kinesiology and a minor in Athletic Training from the
University of Maine. She studied massage therapy at
the American Institute of Massage Therapy in Ft.
Lauderdale, FL and received her National License in
1997. Sheridy started Destination Health in Sarasota,
FL where she resided for 6 years. Her business has
taken her as far as the Mediterranean before settling
down on beautiful Mount Desert Island.
Maija D. Leyendecker, L.M.T, has recently come
aboard to join Destination Health and it's ongoing
commitment to quality and professionalism. She is a
licensed massage therapist, with experience in athletic
training and credentials as a Division I college athlete,
as well as an experienced martial artist. She grew up on
Mount Desert Island, and continues to live in the area
throughout the year.
